CONCEALED PISTOL LICENSE CLASS

This is the course required to get your Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL). In this class, we will cover what you need to know about the law and how to operate/carry a loaded weapon safely in public and private settings. No experience is necessary.

  • Must be 21 years of age, The applicant must have a valid, lawfully obtained Michigan driver's license or official Michigan personal identification card.

Handgun Basics

This training course is for any gun owner. We will review gun safety, gun storage, how to disassemble and reassemble your firearm, loading, and unloading firearms, target focus, and how to manage recoil. This class is available with and without range options.

  • Ammo and Firearms are the responsibility of the student. Rentals are available at an additional cost.

B.R.A.S.S.

B.R.A.S.S.  (Breathe Relax Aim Squeeze Shoot)

In this course, you will learn how to draw from concealment and fire your handgun. You’ll also learn how to conduct emergency and tactical" reloads, a and how to clear various types of weapon malfunctions. This introductory course is designed to teach defensive pistol shooting to beginners and to those who have received other training. This class will educate students on concepts technique, application of the Basic Firearms Safety Rules, fundamentals of semi-automatic handgun operation and develop their basic marksman skills.

Pistol Selection

Looking to purchase your first firearm or add to your collection, but unsure what to get? Well, Family Tactical Solutions has you covered! We now offer a Pistol Selection Course.

In this course, students will have the opportunity to fire various firearms to determine which firearm best meets their needs. Those firearms are Canik TP9 SC, Glock 43X, Glock 19, Sig Sauer P365, and a Taurus G2C. After class, students can leave feeling confident being that we’ve narrowed down your firearm preferences and best for.
